‘Welsh Legends’

This special series of ‘Welsh Legends’ is finally up and running after years of thinking and talking about it! In 2015 I finally ‘came out’ and said publicly that I would be undertaking this massive project. There is now no going back! I have asked for feedback from many people on facebook for their favourites that they would like to see me paint. That list has grown in a way I could not have imagined and all the animals below so far have been voted for multiple times. Animals painted can be viewed by clicking the live link on their name. I anticipate releasing up to a maximum of six new prints of ‘Welsh Legends’ per year.
Prints are now available to order/purchase. The prints will be strictly limited to 20 of each image and no more will then ever be produced. (plus three artist’s proofs which will be retained by the artist) The prints are 10″x 12″ (3ocm x 25cm) and are signed and numbered and presented in a quality card mount with a certificate of authenticity and cellophane wrapped.If you wish to purchase or reserve a print please contact me by email from my contact page or message me on my facebook page Debbie Dunbar Art

The prints are being produced by a Fine Art Guild recognised printer with archival quality paper and ink and each will be priced at just £70 each. Please contact me if you would like to order a print. The collection will be added to steadily over the years and I hope will eventually feature many of the the most well loved animals from the past 100 years.
Its a huge project with lots of research needed to gain permissions for use of photographs etc and I am indebted to the WPCS and Dr Wynne Davies MBE for their assistance and support so far.
