Very pleased to announce that I am to be the Guest Artist at the lovely Bay Gallery in Aberystwyth from 4th March to 3rd April. To find out more visit their website or my facebook page! I will have a selection of landscapes on display, some of which are painted from life, like these two small oils below.
I was thrilled and immensely proud to be commissioned to paint a portrait of Dr Wynne Davies by the Welsh Pony and Cob Society.
This painting, of Dr Wynne with the Section A stallion Dinarth What Ho was unveiled at the Royal Welsh Show in July.
Dr Wynne Davies MBE is one of the leading figures in the Welsh Pony and Cob world and has been for over 60 years. He is a staunch member of the Welsh Pony and Cob Society. Dr Wynne is also a renowned breeder of Section A ponies under the prefix Ceulan. He has been involved in the running of the society for the past 69 years, and given the annual Publicity Report, as the Society Publicity Officer, for the past 39. He has attended and reported on the Royal Welsh Show, and on numerous shows and events across the United Kingdom and the world, for Horse and HOund and other magazines and is known and valued by all who breed and compete.
Dr Wynne’s retirement as Publicity Officer was announced at the WPCS AGM on the 1st of April,
Vice Chair of Council, Colin Thomas, said: “Dr Wynne’s knowledge of the Breed and background has been so impressive to us all. His retirement is a great loss to the Society. Wynne has graced the Welsh Pony and Cob Society as a Council member and Publicity Officer over many decades, which has been a sheer delight to the global membership.”
So excited to be able to finally announce that I have become a member of the King Street Gallery Artist’s Gallery in Carmarthen! It’s going to be a pleasure to be able to exhibit in this beautiful gallery on a regular basis. My work is now on display in the Main Gallery.
I also have a Solo Exhibition coming up with all new work in the Gallery’s Chate Room, 1st – 13th September 2017. I will be stewarding the gallery for the first time on 16th August so why not pop in and say hello?

I am holding a joint exhibition with fellow artist, Ceramic Sculptor Valerie Price-West in the Corn Exchange Gallery in Cardigan during the lead up to Barley Saturday. It will be our fourth consecutive joint exhibition in this lovely gallery, its becoming quite a fixture! I have an all new body of work planned for this, which I am very excited about. Joining us again will be one or two invited artists, including this year Rebecca O’Dwyer who hails from Cardiff. You can see her beautiful drawings on her website. The painting below is one of two sold pre Christmas at Sally Mitchells Gallery in Tuxford, Nottinghamshire. She has a fabulous gallery in an old coaching in called the Newcastle Arms.
